Hello, I am Hec I am a 55-year-old who loves running and lifting weights. In the gym I can go heavy, and at the other end I’m a 4-hour marathon runner with over 10 marathons to date. My last marathon was Feb β€˜20 with a time of 4:08. Keeping fit and healthy is a way of life.

I have been lifting weights from the age of 19 and running consistently for over 10 years. I have come to realize that my health is my biggest asset and by staying mentally and physically strong I have been able to sail and survive the choppy waves of life… If there are challenges in life, and some are great, then to be in good health is paramount for facing these head-on; back in 2012, I found himself unemployed for several months. However, during this time I completed my first Seville marathon my first Sprint triathlon, and would never look back … When the employment offer came around, I was mentally and physically in the right place to jump at the opportunity !

My background is engineering. I graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic, London in 1991 and then would spend the next 28+ years in industry, working and living In Spain, US and UK. My roles have been varied throughout my career which included production, project management and control room operations.

Why I created FitnessTMB?

I have always had a passion for fitness and training, so in 2018 I embarked on Fitness Instructor course and in 2019, I qualified as a Personal Trainer. To take my passion further, in November 2019 created FitnessTMB. The main idea was to train and improve the lives of men over 40, which seemed to be a group that had allowed life, family and work commitments to overshadow their health and well-being. It was obvious that too many were unhealthy, unfit and stressed.

At FitnessTMB, all our plans are personalized and the coaching is Online and one to one; there is a weekly Check-In session via Zoom. The client has the chance to opt in to the WhtasApp group which enables them to receivedaily motivation and feel part of a family that is striving to achieve their goals. In this sense the engament is constant.

Most clients want to lose weight and become fitter, whereas other clients wish to gain weight and muscle while they optimize the health and body to become fitter.

As an engineer I understand the value of data, such as body fat percentage, water intake, body weight, workout duration, hours of sleep and the value of caloric restriction through intermittent fasting. By carefully analysing the information, the experience of the client is optimized to create their best transformation in 13 weeks so9 they can achive their objective.

The Recondition – Recharge – Energise Method, is at the core of what we do which is based on the 3 main pillars of Mindeset – Nutrition – Training.

To date our transformations demonstrate that the methodology with the correct mindset, nutrition protocol and training are the way to go to provide our clients with long-lasting great outcomes

Many clients decide to stay on to further their objectives post-tranformation with a pay monthly, no contract Evolve bolt-on package.
